These full-featured DSPs utilize Credo’s industry-leading transmitters and low power BER receivers, and are optimized for cost-efficient production.

The SEAGULL Platform Optical DSPs are designed for 5G front- , mid-, and back-haul wireless networks. The versatile device can also be used as a Gearbox or Retimer mux for enterprise data center applications. Seagull 50 is the initial member of the SEAGULL Platform of DSPs for 5G wireless applications.
Credo's proprietary PAM4 DSP architecture minimizes die size and utilizes mainstream silicon process technology to deliver optimal cost, power, and performance for the next generation of optical modules. Pluggable optical modules with Credo PAM4 DSPs enjoy the lowest cost-of-ownership and industry-leading performance, while using minimal power.
Seagull 50 (CFD10101) is used in the next generation of low power, high performance QSFP28, DSFP, and SFP56 optical modules that support 50Gbps SR, DR, FR, and LR applications with PAM4 modulation.

Seagull 200

The Seagull 200 Optical DSP is designed for optical interconnect of Hyperscale/enterprise data centers, Cloud service providers, wireless service providers, and high-speed data network applications.

Seagull 200 is used in the next generation of low power, high performance QSFP56 optical modules that support 200GbE SR4, DR4, FR4, LR4, and 400GbE SR8 applications with PAM4 modulation.
Seagull 200 has industry leading performance and low power dissipation. It is footprint-compatible with Credo's Dove 200, enabling the option to design a common PCB for both devices, then selecting the optimal DSP to meet the application needs.
